what happens with homegroup and network settings during an upgrade installation of windows 10

i have a win 7 touchscreen desktop and a win 8.1 touchscreen laptop. if i upgrade to win 10, what will happen with their configurations that are now sharing as i want them to do?

Nothing will change if you do a regular in-place upgrade (keep settings and files option). You should backup just in case though.

I DON'T HAVE A SOLUTION.......JUST A CAUTION. when I upgraded to Win 10, the upgrade changed my current profile to "Public", and now I cannot access the internet, nor have I been able to find anyway to change it back to "Private"!
