When playing/recording at 60-100 FPS on games like CSGO and Minecraft it is unplayable (choppy)

When I normally play these games I get up close to 300 FPS and no problems. When I hit record, and it brings me down to about 95 FPS, which is still a high FPS, it is completely choppy, slow, and unplayable. It feels like my old laptop when I played at 20 fps. Other games like the Star Wars battlefront beta I would get 75 FPS and record at 60 FPS and it was completely smooth. Why with Minecraft and CSGO does it absolutely suck at that FPS? I also recently switched from an HDMI cable (up to 60 FPS) to a dual display port (up to 144 fps). I was able to record minecraft smoothly at 60 FPS with the HDMI cable.

Also, in the settings for Minecraft when I bring it down to 60-90 FPS it still sucks, so it isn't just the recording.

I'm using DXTORY. Also ignore CSGO, that is working fine now. It is Minecraft I am having difficulties with. I've watched a bunch of tutorials and still get as low as 40 FPS, and when the FPS is higher it still lags.

120 FPS. Playing Minecraft at 60 FPS reminds me of my old PC playing at 20 FPS. I don't know why 60 FPS is laggy for me and smooth for everyone else. I even see people playing it smoothly at 30 FPS, yet I lag at 60.
