Is there a decent AMD AM3+ motherboard for less than $100?

I'm an avid gamer who really needs an upgrade as my current setup is a
Pegatron M2N78-LA motherboard
AMD Athlon II X4 630 cpu
6gb ram

I'm already getting an FX8350 cpu from a friend, just need a good motherboard on an extremely limited budget as in...over $100 is a no go. -_-

I would take a look at the ASUS M5A97 series of motherboards. They support your CPU and fall within your price range. I used to use one and did not have any problems for 4 years.

Any thoughts on the MSI 970? I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough on motherboard specs. Also for the FX-8350 cpu is it necessary to get an alternative cpu fan than what it comes with? My apologies for asking more questions within my question >_<

The 970 is an older chipset to the 990FX but still an option. The 8350 is frequently bought with the Gigabyte motherboard I linked above.

I recommend at least getting a Hyper Evo 212 CPU fan as the stock cooler did not keep my temps under 65C under load and was quite loud.
