PC Crashed with Internet Adapter

My computer would not update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 until I took out the USB Wifi adapter. When it did update, if I had the adapter plugged in it would crash, so I have now downgraded back to 7. Why does it do this, and how can I fix it?

So this one won't work at all? It's a Dynex Wireless G USB adapter.
