I need a 27 inch IPS monitor.

This monitor will be for my Console so it will only need to be 60htz but more would be fine. It needs to be IPS because there is no advantage at all for getting a TN for a console. I dont have a current budget but I would like it to be as cheap as possible. Also would a faster response time help with console?

I advise you to get a TV instead of a monitor that is PC oriented, and usually more expensive....

But dont monitors jst look better because of there small LEDs?

Consoles don't play more than 1080p when it comes to resolutions (as far as I am aware of...). So there is no need to go for big resolutions. Since most TV have 1080p nowadays, and are cheaper, you can safely go for a TV without worring losing image quality (because, like i said before, consoles Max is 1080p).

One thing you can do is search for IPS monitors that are 27'' and 1080p, check the prices, and then compare to TVs with same size and resolution.

Input lag is not going to affect your experience when it comes to consoles.


Inside the TV departement, you can check for which one has better image quality (colour, brightness, contrast, etc), like you would do in the monitor's department.

When you can have several 32'' TV for the same price as that monitor, I honestly find a bit wasting money when the final use is to be played in a console.

Asus stated above, is very nice looking/performing monitor. I have it in white color tho.
