Should I disable the integrated HD 4000 graphics?

I thought when I add graphical card, the integrated graphics is automatically disabled. I was surprised to see the driver exists and even one software saw the integrated before nvidia. Nvidia driver is installed and working and all my monitors connected to that. I assume the setup has option to allow both to work concurrently (maybe)

The question, is leaving it enabled could have impact on performance?

leaving it enabled will have no negative impact on performance. they only work alone, not concurrently.

if you want to disable it still the instructions are here

however i don't recommend this because if your gpu dies you wont be able to try the integrated graphics to troubleshoot.
