The best apps for the following uses

Solution
These are not Windows 10 questions, and you've been doing the same in a few other sections too...

But for the sake of ending these non-sense threads:

"The best app for improving gaming performance."
No such thing.

"For recording audio"

Avid has good stuff, though adobe encore is decent and much cheaper.

"for editing videos."
Broadcast videos goes to Avid, though premier pro and some of the autodesk stuff is good enough.

"For mixing/creating music."
For mixing, you'll need hardware mixers with dedicated software. For creating, StaffPad is great.

"For 2d and 3d animation"
2D animation is more the line of compositors like combustion and aftereffects
3D is up in the air but Maya/Lightwave/ custom renderman solutions

These are the...

in my opinion I don't think there are any programs that will enhance gaming performance to a great degree.
keeping the minimal amount of necessary programs running with as much of your ram free is key,
but popular tools such as glary utilities might be worth a look http://www.glarysoft.com/

for recording and mixing try audacity (free software)
http://audacityteam.org/
or goldwave (paid)
https://www.goldwave.com/
for music creation FL Studio is good and popular (paid)
https://www.image-line.com/flstudio/
LMMS is also one of the best music creation tools (free and has a similar layout to FL Studio)
https://lmms.io/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db6qViE1ODc
or to make music online
http://tools4beats.com/reviews/top-3-tools-to-make-beats-online-for-free

for 3d animation try blender (free).
I think you can edit videos with this too
https://www.blender.org/
for paid professional software there is always adobe flash, premier or maya
for free video conversion try handbrake or mkvtoolnix gui
for puttings videos on to dvd, convertxtodvd is one of the best tools

with 2d animation there is synfig (free) http://www.synfig.org/cms/
or try pencil2d (free) http://www.pencil2d.org/
for paid products there is tvpaint, toonboom studio-harmony,
for vector based graphics try inkscape (free)

for user guides on almost any software to work out which is best for you search on youtube

These are the "best". And yes, I am being sarcastic. And yet all the answers are true.
