can I run triple eyefinity setup with these cable?

I have an R9 280 and am currently running 2 monitors on it and am looking to hook up the third one that I ordered but I realized that the adapter I got for it was not active. The monitors I have dont have displayport. I will have three monitors, one running from an hdmi to hdmi cable, another from an hdmi to dvi-d, and am going to hook up the third one with an hdmi cable to an active displayport adapter into my gpu. Will this work for eyefinity? I heard that you must have an active dvi to displayport, is this true? Will my active hdmi to displayport adapter be fine?

Should be fine. I'm running two active mDP to DVI adapters, but as long as it's coming off of a DP/mDP plug and being actively changed to something else you should be fine.
