Best (Recommended) free mp3/media player by Genre

Greetings,
I have an Asus tablet (T100) running the full, updated version of windows 10. I am currently using VLC as my primary media player. I have a vast amount of music files (mp3 and flac formats) that have been organzed using ID3 tagging. Are there any free mp3/media player that can organize and play music by "genre", and/or is there a way to organize and play music on VLC by genre? Thank you in advance.

Just use Groove app that's built into Windows 10, you can sort by genre, date, album, artist, and song title.

Thanks for your answer. I had no idea that Win 10. had a music player. i assumed that "10" didn't have a medial player of any kind considering the hoopla over Microsoft removing its embedded media player.

It has two, WMP12 and groove. The only thing that was removed was OS support for DVD playback.
