Hi all,

I have a Dell 1909W 19" LED and it has 2 USB ports on its side but I cannot figure out what are they used for and how? Please guide me

Thanks in advance!

You should have a cable with sort of a square receptacle on one end, which plugs into the back of the monitor, and a USB plug on the other end, which plugs into a USB port on your computer. This then gives you two extra USB ports on the monitor to supplement whatever you have on the computer.

Thanks for the info, can you also clarify whether it is USB 2.0?

USB 3.0 usually has a blue port. Look up the specs on the monitor...if it doesn't specify USB 3.0, it's most likely 2.0.
