I am looking to design a small computer lab for my workplace. I am hoping to have the work be shared onto one monitor that will be displayed in the front of the room, large enough for people working to see. In practice, it should be multiple inputs, on one output, if that makes sense. For example, if we are all working on the same project, and someone edits something, I want that project that is being displayed to update in real time. Here is an idea of what I am trying to accomplish, some help would be appreciated! Here is an image of what I am trying to accomplish, it is a bit of a crude drawing but hopefully it makes sense!

ChristianO,

You will need a multiple monitor switch.

Here is an example link:

All of the computers will need to have dual port graphics cards. One port for the computer's monitor and one port to feed the switch. Plus long cables; vgi, DVI, or HDMI. Connector slection depends on the monitor port(s) available on each graphics card. Shorter runs from the computers to the switch which would be centrally located among the computers. Then a longer cable to the main display monitor at the front of the room.

Could be expensive.....
