When I plug headset back in it doesn't work.

Hi!
I updated to windows 10 a while ago, but I have this problem ever since. So when I plug out my headset or microphone and plug it back in, it doesn't recognize it. I have to reboot with the cables in on reboot for it to work. Any fixes?

My laptop has a nasty habit of doing this.
Not the most ideal solution, but you can do this:
Start -> type 'Sound' and the option 'Sound // Control Panel' will appear. Click on that.
You'll notice a headphone out (or something similar). Right click on that and click 'set as default device'.
Click OK.
That should hopefully sort it!
