With Windows 10, when I plug in an external storage device, there is no indication that it is present on my computer. This is true for my Seagate external disc drive, and memory sticks. I can't find out how to safely eject the external drive. I can't click and drag a file to the external drive, as I could with every other Windows. Any ideas?

Hi,

The Autoplay function of your PC might be OFF. But you can still determine if those external drives are being detected by going into Start then File Explorer. In File Explorer look for This PC, click on it and you'll see the external drive that is connected. Just open it and you'll be able to drag and drop the files that you want to save into it.

To Activate Autoplay:
