I am currently using an evga classified gtx 570 with an asus vh236h 24 inch monitor paired with a

asus vw193t 20 inch monitor. I was thinking of getting a 27+ inch monitor to replace the 20 inch

monitor, and i saw that my current graphics card has 2 dual link dvi ports. Does that mean it will

support my current 24 inch monitor paired with a 27 inch monitor? And If I buy a monitor that is

lets say for instance, a 1440p ips monitor 5-6 ms with a higher refresh rate than 60 hz that

requires dvi dl or hdmi or display port, can I use that one on a higher frequency and keep my 24

inch monitor at 60? Or will it force both monitors to run at 60 hz? Will I run into any other

unforseen issues with buying a bigger/better monitor with my current setup?

Solution
If the 27 inch monitor is 4K, you must connect it with a HDMI or DisplayPort.
If it's 1440p, it'll be fine.
I've once tried using two monitors (120Hz and 60Hz) with a single gpu, it works fine for me.
