Windows 10 Firewall cant't change some of your settings : Error code 0x8007042c

Greetings everyone,

I want to turn windows firewall on but its impossible i get this error : Windows 10 Firewall cant't change some of your settings : Error code 0x8007042c ! I have tried every solution i found on the internet with no luck yet. Please help me ..

That error code seems to throw up when you have a third party antivirus running and want to turn on windows firewall. Either turn off the firewall feature on your antivirus or uninstall it.

Have you tried sfc / scannow?

Conversely as per this thread have you tried stopping firewall in the services tab and then turning it on?

See if this thread provides any assistance. Likewise have you also tried performing a system restore?
