Suddenly monitor goes blank

So recently I bought a new pc, in few weeks it run perfectly. But today suddenly my monitor displays blank but cpu is still running ok, with sound. Here is my specs:
1. Intel i5 4690
2. Palit jetstream gtx960
3. 8gb ram ddr3
4. Msi z97 gaming 3 mobo

Btw, when i removed graphics and connect my monitor to mobo, it works, but my graphic cards fan still works, is it broken? It is actually new so its quite depressing if it is really broken..

It does sound like the GPU may have failed on Palit card. The fans still work only because they are still getting power and there's nothing wrong with them.
