Compatibility Question about RAM

Is the ASRock X99 Extreme4 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157543) compatible with G.Skill Ripjaws 4 seried ddr4 3000 mhz memory (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231873&cm_re=G.skill_4_series_16gb-_-20-231-873-_-Product). The motherboard says it will work with 3000 mhz but it has OC in parentheses next to it, What does this mean. Will I be okay? Thanks for any help!

It means that you will have to OC the CPU tp reach the advertised speed. OC = over clock

The board does support that speed if your CPU can handle it.

Alright, so I'm getting a 5820K which can support 2133 without overclocking. If I get this ram will it run at 2133mhz? I would like to purchase this even if it runs slower than it's advertised speed because it is a good deal, matches my color scheme, and I may consider overclocking to hit that 3000mhz mark once I do some more research

If it's a good deal, then why not? Should be easy enough to set up in bios to the 2133MHz.
