Display driver amd has stopped working and successfully recovered

Hello, I get the error message ''display driver amd has stopped working and successfully recovered'' when I'm playing demanding games like GTA or fallout 4 sometimes even when I'm playing minecraft.I don't get this issue any other times just when I'm playing games which is annoying because it also closes the whole game and messes it up so I have to close it anyway.
I dont need any updates as I've checked
My specs are -
Graphics card- AMD r9 390
Motherboard- MSI 7918
Processor - Intel i7
8gbs of ddr 3 ram

downclock gpu or up power limit gpu, use afterburner for temporary or edit bios for permanent change
