I currently have 3 desktops with Windows 10 installed and none of them have this issue. This happens on my rather new laptop. Basically, when I start something such as Windows Explorer(this also happens when I load something into paint - mspaint).
Basically, it hangs my whole laptop for around 25 seconds to 2(or even more sometimes) minutes. This didn't happen in Windows 8.1 and didn't happen right away when I got Windows 10, it just started randomly happening.
I've been suggested to do a couple of things including:
- Enabling multi-processors(I am currently running on 4)
- Reduce the timeout limit from 30 to 15.
Thanks,
Evan
