Windows freezes up but cursor still works but everything else frozen

Random freezes on windows 7 now the same on windows 10
Cursor still works but nothing else does audio and video playback freezes then after a while stutters playback then stops again only way to resolve is to restart laptop help

I need your computers specifications. It sounds to me like it is a faulty display adapter, when you swapped to windows 10 it most likely dupicated your drivers and is still trying to address the older ones causing errors. Make sure Flash player is up to date and check your windows update in the optionals for new drivers.
