Looking for a third gaming monitor, 27 inch, low input lag

Currenlty I own a benq gw2765 and a samsung s27c350, I'm looking to get a third monitor to go with these for FPS gaming on it, or playing sim/flight games over all three. Things I'm looking for:

under 300€
27inch
low input lag
1080p is alright
not too fat bezels
120/144hz would be nice

Right now I'm looking at a Asus-VE278Q

Suggestions are much appreciated!

ps: are there any issues with using nvidia surround on three different model monitors?

  1. Well you can't quite fit a 27" 144Hz monitor into that budget. However, you can fit a 24" 144Hz monitor into that budget.

If you want to run surround, you would have to run all the at the common denominator refresh rate of 60Hz. So the 120Hz+ refresh rate of a single panel would essentially be useless in a surround configuration.

Bezels are pretty big on the VE278Q. Why not look into something like the H227H (27" AH-IPS) or the Asus VX279H (27" AH-IPS).

    The Acer for €279.

    The Asus for €239

Hope this helps you out. Would definitely take a look at these two as they share (I think) the same AH-IPS panels (newer IPS tech). Should offer fairly low input lag with the added benefit of IPS.
  2. Thanks for the suggestion! I'd like a 120/144hz monitor so I'd run it alone in FPS games as said, then I'd switch to surround for other games so it would work at 60hz , that should work right? Low input lag / response time is something I'd like too since the ones I own are too slow.

Well, as I said, there really isn't a panel out there that meets your specification and price requirements.

There are good 24" options however, the BenQ XL2411Z is a very popular monitor that offers great performance for the price.
    Amazon link for €279.
