Is TN/IPS important when recording screencaps? Will it affect the video output?

Hello!

I am looking at building a machine for recording screen capture of gameplay.

I know that IPS has more vibrant colours at a slower latency, and the TN is the opposite.

What I need to know is...will the washed out colours of a TN monitor or the screen latency of an IPS show up in the recording?

To put the question another way...is the recording taken from the output of the GPU or is it taken from the output of the monitor?

Thanks for your help.

Nope, the screen is the end result after the video and it's colors have been calculated by the GPU and that's what will be recorded. Pixels are defined by a red-green-blue color number so say purple which might be 255-0-255 (number of r vs b) then that's what is captured. How it's displayed after that doesn't matter.
