Running afterburner in a kodi windows shell?

Hi all,
I have an alienware alpha running windows 10, ive made it so that i launch Kodi in a windows shell using a program called "launcher4kodi" so now when my computer boots up it loads directly to kodi without loading desktop and i use it as a HTPC
Also i have a steam big picture launcher inside kodi so i can launch steam and play my games.
Im wondering if theres a way to make afterburner run in the background when i launch steam so it can apply GPU overclock settings automatically.
Is it possible?
