Can anyone help me?
Yesterday my PC bluescreened with the error message "clock_watchdog_timeout"
I tried system restore a few times but every time it would either crash or bluescreen at the initialising stage.
Today I successfully ran a system restore to a point about a week ago. Everything looked promising so I started to reconnect my peripherals one by one (I removed them before in case they caused a problem) and as soon as I put my Ethernet cable back in it bluescreens again with the same message.
I can't look at the memory.DMP because I can't download a debugger without the Ethernet cable.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,

Here are few thing you can try that may help in resolving the issue.
- Run Windows Update, install all important updates there is.
- Update your graphics card driver and network card.
- After all these please do observe if the same problem will persist.
- If all these will not work you may need to do a clean install of Windows 10.

okay, I figured out what it was, it turns out that something to do with FireWire had corrupted.
I disabled it in the BIOS which stopped the bluescreens

thanks for the response though
