Monitor Compatibility with Upcoming Build

Hi guys,

I'm going to be building a new computer this Christmas. However, I would like to keep my current monitor when I upgrade without having to buy a new one to fit the build.

Will I be forced to buy a new monitor, or will this one be fine for the time being when I do my build? Any help would be appreciated greatly!

No you won't be forced to buy a new monitor. You can last with an even worse one.

Agreed, theres no reason to get a new one except for personal preference. You can always make a monitor work with your computer. Remember, "theres an adapter for that!"
