HELP! chinese virus on computer

every time i start up my computer it starts with error message "windows started with temporary files" than if i open chrome all settings where refreshed (so is my desktop refreshed to default) and chome automatically tells me new extensions i never heard before. when i try to turn off my computer there is a bunch of Chinese letters that is preventing computer from shutting down. i've done scans and nothing pops up.

Hi, try starting the pc in safe mode and see if it does the same thing.

It may be time for a fresh windows install.....

I would recommend backing up all the data you want to keep onto an external drive or flash drive and then factory resetting/fresh installing windows. When you're done with that install a program like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and have it scan the drive you backed up on to before moving all your old files back onto the computer.

I agree, If its windows 10 or 8, you can do a windows refresh that will keep your files but reinstall windows, this may work, or try a restore point aswell.
