I just wanted to know if its okay to now upgrade to windows 10.
Like will their be any restrictions or security problems?
Is the current version of Windows 10 good?
Is it right to upgrade now because I keep getting the upgrade notification every time, and every single time I think to whether I should upgrade or not?
Is it really still insecure as before? As I heard rumours that Microsoft steal your information and your privacy.
Please help. Thank you. :)

You can opt out of all the spying crap once its installed.
Win 10 has been solid as a rock for me personally - don't regret upgrading at all.

You lose windows media centre & that's about it, I've just installed kodi for my multimedia use which is 100% better anyway.

But what about the security? Like last time my friend told that Windows 10 locked him out and he had no idea what the password was. I'm kinda scared now..

So will you lose any files if you upgrade to win 10 or rollback to win 7?

The answer to your question is technically* no, but always assume YES.
Make sure you backup critical data beforehand.

So all in all windows 10 is better than win 7 or not? Should I upgrade right away or at the end?

It's stable, but the bland UI takes some getting use to. I would say if your PC manufacturer has updated drivers for your system, and peripherals you may have, then go for it - you have 30 days to roll back to Win7 if you don't like it.

If drivers aren't available, then stay put.

Then check the manufacturer website for your motherboard and see if Win10 drivers are available. If it's Haswel (LGA1150) or later then you're probably in luck. Ivy Bridge (LGA1155) will be a maybe, some but not all drivers, though most people have good luck using Win8.1 drivers for Win10.
