I was upgrading my y50 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and now this happened (images)

So there was the "Update to Windows 10 for free" icon at the bottom taskbar so I went with it and it began to prepare for installing windows 10. After my laptop rebooted the following begins to show. What should I do?

Windows always asks what layout you want to use during the install because keys are arranged differently depending on your location.
the repair/rollback screen comes up after choosing keyboard layout with no message in-between?

if you contact the laptop manufacturer and they can't help I would just run a fresh install of Windows 10, including formatting the disk first. some "upgrade Windows" options just don't play well with certain configurations.
