So my PC has decided to keep force restarting itself any time something intensive is run any ideas?

This has been happening for a week or so, my processor is a Intel Core i5-3570 3.40ghz, ive checked my temperatures and everything is fine. But i cant tell if its my PSU or my CPU any ideas?

Check your temps, if they aren't high, it's most likely a faulty PSU, what are your full specs including PSU make and model?

Winpower Atx 800 is my power supply, although it is now discontinued. I am going to try using a different PSU to see if it makes a difference

As I have never heard of that brand, I'd say the PSU is likely to be the issue, good idea.

Captain Obvious would like to point out that another poor quality PSU does not make a good test, nor does a new one because it could faulty as well. You need to test with a known working high quality PSU.

make sure the ram isnt the culprit (keeping the cpu as is, relax the speed and or timings of the ram to defaults or slower)

Im going to be testing with a Corsair 750w power supply, so it should be fine and not a "Poor quality PSU"

Gonna play around with my ram and see if its the issue

Swapped the power supply out and it did the trick, thanks for the suggestions guys
