do graphics cards price drop during holiday sales?

Is it reasonable to expect the price of a GTX 980Ti to drop during the Black Friday or Boxing day sales? Or do they belong to the category of things whose price will only drop with time (or never)?

Nvidia prices generally stay roughly the same for all time lol. Regardless, computer hardware is already prone to fluctuate by the day if not by the hour. The best I hope for on black friday or cyber monday or mildly decent combo deals. Like last year there was a combo for 4x Kingston 120GB V300 for $119, free shipping and I'm registered as a reseller with newegg so no tax either.

My point is some good deals can be found if you're willing to fish. But the same can be said for any day of the year when it comes to computer hardware.
