For that price, I would rather have an i7 5820k + X99 + 4x4GB ddr4 RAM.

I would personally never pay $200 for a mouse and keyboard.

A case with so many 120mm fans will be loud. I would rather have a case with fewer larger fans.

The parts are good and everything is compatible of course. If you want to stick with the 6700k, get a cheaper motherboard like the Asus-A

Not a bad looking build there. I did some research though and according to a video review I found on the 6700k vs the 5820k the 58 may perform better with video editing and related tasks, but the 67 definitely outperforms the 58 in terms of games. Since I'm mainly going to be gaming, I decided to stick with the 6700k :) Also with the motherboard I was looking at the features of all the 1151 compatible boards and from what I found the Hero best suites my needs. Loving all the features as well :D Plus I have the money so I don't mind going with the more expensive option xD And with the case I know I'm going to be moving it around a lot, as I take my PC with me to friends places pretty often, so the handle on the Scout 2 Advanced is a nice bit of help with that heh. I did take your suggestion for the cooler though! The H5 Ultimate seems like a very nice step up from the H7. I changed my RAM as well to match the board better, going with a couple of Ripjaws V's in black at 3200. I'll be honest I don't really know why I even put the post up knowing I wouldn't change a lot.. So sorry about that. But I thank you for your input either way :)

Well it's your money, and the 6700k build is a very good one. It's just way overpriced. You could save a couple hundred $$$ by getting the i7 4790k that would perform equally in gaming. You could save a few hundred $$$ in general by not getting everything from newegg.

The 5820k and motherboard is far more capable though. I small overclock on the 5820k would match the 6700k in gaming while offering more cores/threads for everything else. Really the price should not be close. The 6700k should be way cheaper.
