I’m helping a friend who is changing his computer, from a Windows XP PC to a Windows 10 laptop. The problem is with the mail.
In the XP computer he used Outlook Express, and has his mail organized in a folder structure that he wants to keep. In Windows 10, he wants to use Outlook 2007, there is also the Windows 10 Mail app installed.
I’ve thought about installing Outlook 2007 on the XP computer and doing the import/export there first and then transfering to Outlook 2007 in Windows 10, but I’m not sure if that would work, and I would prefer not having to install anything.
What would be the best way to transfer all his mails, keeping the folder structure, settings and rules?
