Suggestions needed for my HTPC setup

Which is more comfortable? - A PC connected to TV controlled by a Smart phone / tablet

or

A PC connected to TV controlled by a wireless keyboard/mouse?

Up to you. IF you do lots of typing and surfing, than a keyboard/mouse is better. Not as easy to sit with on your lap and surf around though.

If you have a spare phone/tablet, then it can be an option.

I use this for mine.

for typing/searching netflix, etc, but also use a harmony IR remote for basic kodi navigation.
