irql not less or equal, blue screen of death

So I've recently upgraded my computer's CPU and Graphics card, AMD FX 8350 and EVGA GTX 970 respectively, primarily for Fallout 4.

Now my computer has been crashing randomly, always unexpectedly. The messages I have been receiving are as following

• 
  IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
  PFM LIST CORRUPT
  KERNAL MODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED
  UNEXPECTED KERNAL MODE TRAP

So I need assistance on this as I'm out of my depth on this matter.

Did you remember to update all your drivers and clean out old drivers?

Also, what did you upgrade from?

I've updated the nvidia drivers immediately.

I've switched from an AMD to Nvidia for my graphics card.
I've switched from a AMD FX 4300 to the 8350.

I've cleared out my old drivers and even only have my keyboard, mouse and Xbox 360 dongle only attached and it still crashes every so often.

Did you formated the pc after the update? If no then probably this is the problem
