Im looking for a new monitor thats around 200, but if its worth it i can go to 250 max.. from what im reading, ips is the way to go but in store the tn looked pretty good too..

Ive read up a lot, but i need a good opinion before i decide

The ones im looking at are asus
Vs239hp
Vn248hp
Vn247hp
And some p model thats ends in q haha

I need it mostly for general browsing, programming, app creation, and video watching. Im not any hardcore gaming, but i do casually, and the app creating is also casual, not professional.

It doesnt matter if the monitor you suggest is in my list, im still looking, but price is important, as is 1080p+.

Any suggestions are welcome, i just need a good decision and something everyonr agrees is good and will last

Solution
It is another similar IPS monitor but in a 23" size. It also has a different base. I'm not sure that the base looks that stable in my opinion. I would get the vn248hp instead.
From what you indicate, I would recommend an ISP monitor. It will give you the best overall picture quality..

I have listed a Newegg page with the specs that I would recommend. Instead of recommending just one, you can look for the best rated one at the best price during black friday sales. I would recommend Asus or Dell.

I just noticed the mx239h... how does that stand up to the vn248hp or vs239hp around the same price?

Thanks for all your help! I went with the mx25h9 due to its aesthetics, and the stand actually was surprising stable when i checked it out in the store haha
