I am planning to get a 144hz monitor to play fps game and my preference is Acer XG270HU. However, it is a freesync monitor and I am using a nvidia card.
I am new to this freesync and gsync thing, all I know is they reduce screen tearing.
How exactly it will affect the performance if I am using freesync monitor with my nvidia card?
Will I still be able to use 144hz feature and just disable freesync if it only gives little boost the the graphic performance?
