Installing Windows 10 on a new SSD for a new computer - but on an old computer

Hey,
I am building a new computer and am eager to get going, but not on expense of silly mistakes.

I am still waiting for my CPU and mother board to arrive, but already have my SSD and Windows 10 (retail) setup disk.

Are there any potential drawbacks if I connect my SSD to my current computer and perform the Windows 10 installation on it?
The things I heard about Windows 10 'fusing' itself to one's hardware is relevant only to the OEM version - am I correct?

Yes, Windows 10 identifies with the hardware on the PC during installation (motherboard specifically), so don't install it on a different system.

Be much less of a headache just to wait.

The Drivers and Chipsets will be different and more than likely it won't boot when you put it in your new system , don't bother wait till your PC parts arrive.

If activated on that old computer and if it's not Retail version activation will be tied to that MB and will not be legal on new one.
