Im planning on getting a BenQ XL2430T for christmas but I'm not too sure if the Dual-link DVI-D will work with the Dual-link DVI-I on my EVGA GTX 960 SSC. If it can is it able to do it at 144hz?

DVI-I contains both DVI-D and DVI-A. So if the card is putting out a D and A signal, the DVI-D on your monitor will work with the DVI-D part the card is putting out. You can use displayport if you want. I'm assuming this is a normal 1080 monitor which means there isn't a difference between the two.
