I'm trying to install ArcGIS for Desktop 10.2 for my wife's homework onto my PC with windows 10. I have a student copy disk with a key from the school. I'm trying to install it, but am getting:
"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. this could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."
I click "Ignore", and get "Error 2350. FDI server error", and then have to abort the install.
I have disabled my antivirus and firewall, and then completely uninstalled my antivirus just to make sure. I ran Quick Books Install Diagnostic Tool. I have copied the contents of the CD to my HDD, and tried installing it that way. I've tried running as administrator, and compatibility mode. I get the error attempting to install to my SSD or HDD.
We're getting pretty desperate because she has homework to get done. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
