Hey there!

Im looking to upgrade my TV to a good gaming monitor. I currently have a 46" Sharp Aquos that I am going to actually use as a TV and grab a monitor to game on.

System:

Intel i7 3.4k
GTX 770 4GB
16GB DDR3
SSD
Asrock Mobo

Will my GTX 770 4GB be able to handle a 4k monitor or should I stick with 1080p?

I have had my eye on some of the Benq Models (the 2730z and 2720z) but I am not sure if the price from the 2730z is warrented due to the fact that I don't use AMD to take advantage of Free Sync.

The 2720z seems like a great 1080p monitor.

Thoughts? Could anyone recommend a possible 1080p/1440p/4k monitor for Moba/FPS/Adventure/ and all around gaming usage?

Thanks everyone and happy holidays!

seems like a good monitor to me. 144hz will be good for games that a 770 can run above 60fps. i think a 1440p 144hz monitor would be wasted, although depending on the fps games you play a 770 might hit 144fps 1440p in csgo as an example, but thats probably about it. i reckon 1080p 144hz would be adequate. but then if you upgrade your gpu in the future a higher res monitor could be utilised.
