Sound isnt working on my laptop

I downloaded Windows 10 a couple of months ago and everything was fine. All of a sudden my sound has stopped working and I googled it and tried everything and it still isn't working.
Help? Thanks.

Please pass on your full systems specs+Laptop make/series and model number. Is this a clean install of Windows 10 or an upgrade from your previous OS? Have you updated your sound cards drivers since loosing out on audibility from your system?

Either uninstall and reinstall your Sound drivers, or get the latest from your PC manufacturer. 2nd choice for drivers is Sound manufacturer. Also the same for any equalizers and enhancers that came with your Sound system.

Updates to 1511 are known to screw with the sound.
