Hi all,

I recently upgraded to windows 10. Before upgrading to windows 10 all my usb3 ports and usb2 ports were working fine.

Since upgrading to Windows 10 all my usb2 ports work fine. However all my usb 3 ports and my front card reader no longer work.

On my card reader on the front panel there are some usb2 ports, these all work however the card reader slots do not even light the LED on the panel, let alone detect it in windows.

USB3 ports on the motherboard also dont work, not just the ones on the front panel.

Have tried the usual stuff updating drivers etc.
Motherboard website does not have windows 10 drivers.

Motherboard is: Asrock 980de3/u3s3

Any help greatly appreciated

The issue you're facing is clearly a conflict with your drivers or a lack of therein. Its clear you have no driver support for Windows 10 from ASRock though you can make ends meet courtesy of Windows 10.

Now, you can download your Etron EJ188 USB 3 drivers off of ASRock's driver download page or you could download from Etron's site and install them via compatibility mode.

Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility tab>Windows 8 [from drop down menu]

Might I ask which OS you had prior to upgrading?
