Hey

I am putting together a new PC essentially a gaming rig. I will use it for a little bit of editing but it will be things like Photoshop, sound editing and some video editing. I will also be salvaging components from my current PC, mainly drives and peripherals but will also use my current graphics card for a little while; however this will be updated at a later date as well.

Thinking about an Asus GeForce Strix GTX 960 4GB for a future GPU upgrade.

Current decisions for PC build.

Case:
be quiet! SILENT BASE 800 Window Orange

Power Supply:
Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W

CPU:
i5 6600 K 1151

Heat Sink:
Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3

Motherboard:
Asus Z170 Maximus VIII Ranger Socket LGA1151 ATX

Ram:
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series F4-3000C15D-16GVRB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR 4

SSD:
Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB

Other options i considered.

Motherboard:
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming ATX
ASRock Z170-Pro4
ASRock Z170 Extreme4

RAM:
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2666MHz

SSD:
Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB M.2
Samsung 850 Pro 512 GB

Heat Sink:
Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3
Corsair Hydro Series H110i GTx
( I am thinking liquid might be a little overkill for what i need atm)

I was thinking around $1500 Australian and really just using my current graphics card for now. GeForce GTX 650 Ti
I also have two WD Hard drives (storage) that will be coming accross as well.

The current list of parts I have is sitting around $1650

otherwise i have the usual PC bits
24" Benq
Logitech speakers
keyboard and mouse
Samsung Optical drive

I had thought about keeping my Antec case with 550W power supply to save some cash, or at least the power supply for now. If I don't get a case and power supply i probably wont be adding the money to the other parts and I'll just cut my budget back.
