Windows 10 disc with external cd drive

I already have my windows 10 Oem 64 bit pc disc, my question is will my computer I just built recognize my external cd drive so I can upload Windows 10 on my pc?

It should. If it does not, use another PC and go to microsofts website to user the USB download tool. All you need is an empty USB drive of 4GB+ and you can make it a bootable windows 10 USB to install windows. This is my favorite method as I never buy physical CD's from windows.

Ya I learned that after I ordered it that I should have went with the usb drive instead of the disc. I'll try the external drive and if not I'll do as you said. Thanks

Ok. I'm not sure if I'll get around to it today or the weekend, but I'll post what worked.
