Can you watch TV through your PS4 (like xbox one)?

Hello all,
I'm thinking about getting my first game system. Still debating between ps4/xbox one...I love the xbox feature where you can stream your cable tv like xfinity without having to switch inputs all the time. Can you do the same on a ps4? Can you connect your cable box to the ps4 so that you can stream cable channels through a ps4?

It's a hard decision between xbox one and ps4...

No, there is no HDMI passthrough on the PS4.

The only way to watch live TV would be to sign up for 3rd party services and watch through an app or web browser.

You will still need to switch inputs to change to your satellite or cable box.

Already looked at Vue, doesn't have the channels I'd like and not in my location. But that's ok. I still went with and bought a PS4 instead of Xbox one.

Don't regret it yet
