In terms of quality, I was planning on running two, possibly three, of these off of my single 970.

They're lower end monitors, but I currently have one, and for the price to performance, I can't falter them at all.

In terms of running two, would it simply be a case of running the main one on HDMI, then the second on DVI? How does DVI perform in comparison to HDMI?

If anyone has better ideas, feel free to let me know.

Solution
DVI is the as HDMI except HDMI can handle audio as well. They are both 1080p and you're 970 should handle most games at high-max settings using both of those monitors.

Perfect, thank you.

Yeah, the monitors don't have speakers anyways, so there's no downside to no audio being sent.

Would you recommend a set up of 1x HDMI and 1x DVI? Or 2x DVI?
