My laptop looks washed out.

For awhile I felt like something is wrong with my laptop screen. However I kinda put those thoughts aside thinking that maybe I'm looking too much into it. However after getting a monitor to use alongside my laptop I realized that the colors are washed out and it is really frustrating me as I do not believe it was always like this. I have tried playing with calibration and adjusting brightness but none of it seems to work. I admit that I take it everywhere and that it has taken its share of hits(if that has anything to do with it)

Does anyone know what else I can do to try and fix it?

Or is the laptop screen just old. (I got it in sept 2013 it's a samsung ativbook 4 6gb i5 version)

(should I try replacing it?)

Sadly, most laptop screens are fairly mediocre. Nothing horrible in the image you posted. I would leave well enough alone for the time being.

I see =\ Though it is more noticeable in other pictures.

I guess I'm just frustrated because I like to play with graphics software and the colors are not accurate(I guess I will use monitor for that stuff God willing)

Yes, a good desktop monitor is better than most of the laptops out there. For better color accuracy, look for a monitor that uses IPS technology, and is listed as "Professional."
