Is there any software to replace Windows Media Center?

Hi there. I'm currently running Windows 7 and use my PC as an all-in-one theater PC. I use Cyberlink PowerDVD 12 to watch movies, and it integrates with Media Center, which allows me to use a Media Center remote control.

It is my understanding that when I upgrade to Windows 10, I will no longer have Media Center, and therefore lose a core component of my theater PC.

Is there any software out there that replaces this feature? Surely I'm not the only one with such a concern... Thanks in advance!

Anything to replace media center in the way you describe? Not really. Software that replaces media center+ garbagelink obsoleteDVD? Sure, Kodi (xbmc) , VLC, and many others.
