Windows 10 [Start apps does not show icon/avatar]

Just in case, Windows 10 has the limit of having 512 entries in the Start menu. If the entries go beyond the said limit, the icons may not be displayed. If this is not the situation in your case, to start with, you can:

> Open the Start menu.

> Right-click the tile that has missing icon.

> Choose Resize and pick the size that is not currently selected.

> This should make the icon reappear.

> Repeat the steps for all the tiles without icons.

If the above suggestion fails, you can:

> Go to C: > Users > <yourWindowsprofile> > AppData > Roaming > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu.

> Select and copy all the items available in the folder.

> Paste the...
