Display will not come up when newly built PC is finished

I just made my first PC build and the display is not working. I have tried 2 different monitor, removing one video card and all the ram except one. Switching the ram into each slot and yet i have have had no luck so far. I have made sure all the power is pushed in all the way.

So there is nothing displayed after BIOS post? Have you booted using the integrated intel graphics (HDMI)? What monitor(s) are you using?

Do you have an old video card that you could try in place of the new 980ti's?
